Not related to the subject,
but I have the same behaveour
when I load sound driver.
Ie: loading "via82c686" at
the time it loads "sound".
I am able to unload "via"
driver, but not "sound".
Not a big deal on laptop,
for it could be rebooted.
The culprit is probably on
the lower level and is the
same for both.
