I cleaned out /usr/src/ in a running Cdrom distribution of FreeBSD 4.0 and cvsuped stable-supfile. The file /usr/src/UPDATING contains only one instruction.. Read /usr/src/UPDATING. No listing of make .. and so on. The files GENERIC and LINT contain support for ST506 ISA IDE and nothing for for PCI based ata or ad, the ide drivers in 4.0. Has April Fools Day arrived early?
