This question would be more appropriate on freebsd-questions, but the answer would be the same on a -CURRENT system. I think you can just take the installation boot floppy and set up the boot.config file to boot the appropriate disk and the appropriate kernel. There are many "boot manager" programs that can be installed to floppies, as well.help
