All,

I am trying to install 5.2.1-RC on Dell 1655MC using USB CDROM.
But I am getting the following errros.

If ACPI enabled:

(While booting)

	umass0: BBB reset failed, TIMEOUT
umass0: BBB bulk-in clear stall failed, TIMEOUT
umass0: BBB bulk-out clear stall failed, TIMEOUT

Then after sometime it goes to Install menu.
But it fails at media selection menu saying that
It couldn't find any CD/DVD drive.

If ACPI disabled:

No umass0 error messages.

But while selecting the install media as CD/DVD, it throws
The following error in the message box.

"Error mounting /dev/cd0 in /dist: Device not configured (6)"

In the debug screen (VTY1) it printed as,

"umass0: unsupported ATAPI command 0x43"

I am using TEAC USB CD-210PU.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
