Help! I am needing to apply a pci cyclades driver to my 2.1.7 box to allow my dialups to work through the cyclades cyclom-y e 16 port box. I have patched the files according to what the instructions say, but then this message comes up and I am not sure what I am supposed to supply for the file to patch. Here is what the output looks like. THe file to patch is what I am not sure about. Hmm... The next patch looks like a new-style context diff to me... The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |Index: sys/conf/files |=================================================================== |RCS file: /home/ncvs/src/sys/conf/files,v |retrieving revision 1.41.4.8 |diff -c -r1.41.4.8 files |*** files 1996/07/16 08:52:49 1.41.4.8 |--- files 1996/10/14 17:32:40 -------------------------- Patching file sys/conf/files using Plan A... Do I need to supply a path to the MAKEDEV or something? This looks strange to me... ........................................ . Bill Beavers, Technology Coordinator . .
