The only problem is that DEFSHELL has been in -current for almost 12
months now.  I'm sure there are a number of people who would object to
backing it out considering it's been in -current for so long now, so
if anyone does it, you'd be the best one to.  :)

And for goodness sake, if someone's backing it out, do it now!  The
release for 5.0 is drawing ever nearer.
