How can one tell apart a I386 CDROM from a Alpha one? I got this one from a friend, and maybe he could have downloaded the wrong image, as I could not boot straight from the CD. FWIW: the 4.0R/alpha CDROM is definitely bootable on my Miata 600au. And installs like a charm. My best bet is a wrong iso image has been used to create your CD. -- Wilko Bulte FreeBSD, the power to serve http://www.freebsd.org http://www.tcja.nl To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
