Then I better not tell you that I get cable modem service with an
approximate max of 1.4Mbps downstream (fastest I've seen in the wee
hours of the morning) for US $40/month (as a cable TV customer, $50/month
otherwise).  Oops...  :-)  Yes, those few (about 2 or 3 hundred thousand
so far) of us with cable modems have it *really* good in the U.S. 
I'm spoiled...  :-)
