Hi, as stated often before, I seem the graphic card is to be most important, to get a good picture on your screen. I often heard that Matrox builds the best ones according to this (with an additional high speed in 2D-acceleration; in some XFree docs I read they are the fastest under XFree, is this still true? Is there any sense in vertical refresh rates beyond 80Hz?) I couldnīt actually check this, so I would be interested: What is your experience with graphic cards? Which ones are supposed to produce the best picture quality (neglect speed)?
