gcc-2.7.2 complains about a lot of old lint. "left-hand operand of comma expression has no effect": 787 instances. This is from the MAKE_SET() macro which doesn't really work anyway and is easy to fix. "comparison between signed and unsigned": 2892 instances. Many of these are for ioctl numbers. ioctl numbers are usually so large that they have type unsigned, but they are passed to ioctl devswitch functions as ints. 4.4lite2 and NetBSD use u_longs. Bruce
