Using ZFS in a Virtual Machine is a risky business since many VM hosts
(VMware and VirtualBox at least) discard any SYNCHRONIZE issued by the
guest. VirtualBox has a way to turn SYNCHRONIZE functionality back on.
Make sure you know how the VM software handles SYNCHRONIZE or FLUSH
before using ZFS there.
