Hello,

I've never used named before and I'm rather lost.
If someone could help me with my problem.

I have 4 computers and 2 X terminals.

128.127.0.1 omnix Interactive Unix (will be replaced by FreeBSD)
128.127.10.1 zapata FreeBSD 2.0-RELEASE
128.127.0.7 myriam msdos
128.127.10.1 tony msdos
128.127.1.1 ncd00 X-Terminal NCD
128.127.1.2 ncd01 X-Terminal NCD

omnix and zapata are running 24 hours a day
Some programs are simpler to use if named is available.

my computers are NOT connect to any external network.
I would like configure a DNS to have only one set of configurations
file and not several hosts files

How can I configure the system
I tried many things but without any success.

Thanks for your help
