Hi.
I've got an AlphaServer 1200 with 2 533 CPUs in it. I installed the
latest version of SRM and was not able to get it to boot from disk. I
hear that the fdd boot does not work properly.
I downloaded boot.flp (the 2.88mb version). I put the boot drive in
another system and ran:
dd if=boot.flp of=/dev/da1
Which should have copied the image to the disk. I put the disk back
into the AS1200 and here is what it said when I tried to boot from it:
AlphaServer 1200 Console V5.9-5, 8-JAN-2001 10:05:24

Anyone have any ideas?
