I was working on a port makefile for netdumpd before this thread started. :) It would be a bit more usable as a port; I prefer it that way since Isilon's infrastructure folks would like to run netdumpd on 11.0. For what it's worth, I've got my revision of the code here: https://github.com/markjdb/netdumpd This version fixes some performance problems in the original, and runs most of the code in capability mode.
