Folks,
With 4.4 getting ready for release in a few days it's about time for the
traditional -doc 'freeze'.
Specifically, I check out a copy of the tree, make sure it builds with
no errors, and tag it. There's no actual freezing of the tree, and no
documentation work needs to be held up.

[1] Which in Murray and Dima's case seems to involve a phenomenal amount
of work on the PR database. Way to go.
