Sorry, This is a little off the subject. We had an interesting experience here this last Monday when our service provider's (the one that provides our connection to the Internet backbone) router failed. When this happened our domain was essentially unreachable. My question to the group is. What happens to E-mail in this situation. We have a few theorys here, but have never read anything that explicitly states that these are fact. Anyone know for sure what is going on with E-mail for servers that are unreachable? Is there such a thing as lost E-mail? We currently are using Netscape Mail Server and NT but have since grown wiser and are now in the process of moving our systems to Free BSD. Thanks for your help.
