I believe that Darwin derives its VFS from FreeBSD 3.2.  However, there
have been other things moved back and forth/merged since then, so I
wouldn't be surprised if you find some stuff that's newer than that.  I've
CC'd Pat Dirks, on Apple's Core OS team, who might be able to shed light
on things.  I know that there is interest at Apple at sync'ing up with
some more recent versions of FreeBSD kernel code, also.
