Hello all, I've tried searching the archives for this particular tape drive (seagate Hornet NS8) but didn't find anything but people complaining that Travan tape drives suck. Does anybody on this list have anything good to say about this model or Travan tapes in general? I *need* to have a tape backup of my home system (been burned on disks going bye-bye 1-too-many times) but simply cannot afford an Exabyte or "cheap" DAT tape drive :( ... these Hornet models look good on paper--have people used them with success?
