I've re-read things, and I think everybody is hanging the 'timeout' issue on
this bug report when really it looks like there's several different
pathologies...  Those that clear up after a power cycle, for example, are
different than the ones that persist. Those at are cleared up by loader.conf
entires likely need quirks of some type (maybe a new type). And those with =
no
messages are Something Else [tm].

Not sure how to go about sorting it all out though. As it is now, it's hard=
 to
take action on anything specific.
