Just a status report for anyone that cares, or is curious ...I just went
through the procedure of installing a complete Jakarta-Tomcat 4.1
installation, including all of the ancilliary Java packages that the
README asks you to install, and it appears to be running ... using the
FreeBSD JDK 1.2.2beta port ...
the examples all appear to work .. haven't figure out how to get it all
configured yet, next project ...
