Perhaps this isn't for the faint at heart, but neither are Ciscos :-) I use the "cu" command (Call Unix): shadow#cu -s 9600 -l /dev/cuaaXX Replacing XX with the proper COM port you've hooked it into - cuaa0 is COM1, cuaa1 is COM2, etc. When you're done using it pause for a second, type ~. then pause for another second or so and it will drop you back to your shell prompt.
