You could use the mirror port. I currently use rsync from ftp4.de.freebsd.org (it's the example in the "Mirroring FreeBSD" article and the only public rsync mirror I could find). http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/hubs/ Beware, the whole thing is very large.
