You could use the mirror port.  I currently use rsync from
ftp4.de.freebsd.org (it's the example in the "Mirroring FreeBSD" article
and the only public rsync mirror I could find).

Beware, the whole thing is very large.  Excluding most non-english
documentation, and the CVS repository the site is about 85GB.
