I have my QuickSilver and no internet connection. I have a few questions. 1. Do I download the latest for PowerPC(32bit) and then download the sources according to the Makefile. 2. Will I need to skip checking the hash/md sum so that the applications can build? 3. Has anyone else done this before? If yes, then what were your results? I'm asking on two lists because: 1. It is a PowerPC based machine. 2. It will be an installation of current. Thanks muchly.
