If you don't need 100Mbit, the 3com 3c589 works with pretty much
anything. I keep a couple spare kicking around for installations
and such.

You can find them cheap used, like here;

for $16 (with a 10bT/10b2 dongle) and you can still buy spare 10bT
only dongles direct from 3com for $6 each. I'm a happy pc-pitstop
customer too, btw.
