[-- Attachment #1 --] Hi I have just installed FreeBSD 4.4 (i386). Hardware.txt on the cd says that this NIC is supported: Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC (10/100 mbit) But when I try to install it via /stand/sysinstall is says: faith0 <unknown network interface type> I can set it up and ping localhost, but I can't ping my own IP (only installed IPv4) or others (on your LAN). Can anyone help me? br db [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2715.400" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have just installed FreeBSD 4.4 (i386).
