I didn't get this from him - I wrote it myself, so it came at about
30bps from my keyboard, as some form of diff against the old code,
sure ;-)

He just urged me to commit it, and didn't release a new version
himself - it seemed that he considered it to be maintained in the
FreeBSD tree, and the separate distribution was dropped (or was going
to be made from the stuff in the tree, not the other way around).

I've included him in the Cc: line, so he can say more about the state
of this himself.
