Yeah, looks like us i915 users are out of luck.  Sadly, the 2d drivers
in ports are extremely stale because the conversion to modular hasn't
landed yet.  If I'd gone with 6.4.2 for the linux_dri port it would have
worked, but I had the 6.5 already on the linux system and I'd forgotten
we had a DRI interface breakage for i915.
