I know for a fact this works. I have done binary upgrades straight from 2.2.6 to 4.0-STABLE snapshots. One note, the next time you SVSUP and build you should rebuild /usr/src/release/sysinstall since it doesnt automatically build during makeworld. -- Jim Weeks On Sat, 30 Sep 2000, Crist J .
