I have a laptop which is running older (2.1.5) FreeBSD and
for reasons I won't go into is not able to be upgraded to
a FreeBSD which understands the 3COM 3C589D PCMCIA card.

So, question is: where does one obtain the older (considered
"obsolete" by 3COM -- I just called them) 3COM 3C589C PCMCIA
card? Do I just start calling vendors one-by-one from the
backs of PC magazines? Or is there a more intelligent way
to track down one of these puppies?

Regards,

web...
