I have a Toshiba 330CDT which has always worked wonderfully. I have had no problems with X, apm, ppp, etc while running 4.1 After reformatting and installing 4.5 I cannot get ppp to work. Strangly enough I am getting errors of a bad file descriptor for /dev/cuaa4. Everything else seems to be working fine, even my old compex LAN card works now. Oddly enough I diffed my old kernel config against my new one and found no problems. I did make a /dev/cuaa4. I've looked through the freebsd archives and done several google searches with no useable results. I checked the Manual and the pedantic ppp primer as well. I'm sure I've forgotten something that I knew to do when I first installed Freebsd years ago. Any ideas?
