I have a few cards that don't seem to play well with newcard for one reason or another, so I tried a 3com thinking it should work great! This card doesn't seem to work that well either. When I ifconfig it, the mac address is all 0's I also get xl0: unknown XCVR type: 15 The card is a 3com/Megahertz 3CCFE575CT. the following is what it gets when I plug it in after I've booted xl0: Ethernet adress: 00:00:00:00:00:00 xl0: no media options bits set in the media options register!! xl0: this could be a manufacturing defect in your adapter or system xl0: attempting to guess media type; you should probably consult your vendor xl0: unknown device ID: 0 -- defaulting to 10baseT xl0: selecting 10baseT transceiver, half duplex. Anyone used this card under -current? Addittionaly it says product version: 5.0 and this card does work in windows. -- David W.
