Ah. That's that then. Who the hell came up with that idea?

Anyway, at the moment the one there is actually gawk. Are there no other=20
implementations knocking around? There must be if it's in the standard.

Incidentally, is it a stated goal of the project to conform to IEEE Std=20
1003.1?=20

I'll just leave it to somebody else, but it is worth noting that if people=

really want the project to be GPL free, with the exception of the compiler,=

it's acheivable.=20
