Thank you John, Jason, and Mark for answering my question so completely. I do believe that I understand everything you all have said, and the current state of play with respect to 10.3-RELEASE. I would however like to ask if there is an ETA for 10.3-RELEASE actually being official and final. (The keyword here, of course, being 'estimated". I understand that an omelette as tasty as this one is fully cooked when it is fully cooked, and not a second sooner.) Also, and separately, I should ask who would be the Right Person for me to send a small suggestion for the Handbook to? My simple small suggestion is that it might be helpful to include some explanation of the use and meaning of the various "uefi" images that are available for download, e.g. under section 2.3.1: https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/bsdinstall-pre.html (I myself have, and continue, to try my best to ignore all this UEFI stuff as much as possible, and I've been successfully doing that for several years now. But eventually there may come a day when I cannot do so anymore. So I'd just like to know when it is either necessary or advisable to use these various *-uefi-* images.) Regards, rfg
