Li-Wen Hsu <lwhsu@FreeBSD.org> has reassigned Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla@FreeBSD.org>'s request for maintainer-feedback to java@FreeBSD.or= g: Bug 210894: java/openjdk8: bootstrap from its own version https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D210894 --- Description --- While building openjdk8 in poudriere, it has a long bootstrap chain: bootstrap-openjdk -> openjdk7 -> openjdk8, that takes too much time. Is it possible for us to have other packages, like bootstrap-openjdk8, for openjdk8 can use itself as bootstrap jdk?
