Is this the API that the apache folks discussed, ie. pre-send iovec, 
fd, post-send iovec, etc.?

I understand we were waiting for them to quantify their "it would be
faster" claims. There's a lot of hype about how sendfile() would be "so
cool", but no actual proof that it would improve anything.
