While I don't consider becoming (semi-)official stable/8 maintainer, your point is fair enough. I'll review my queue of desired patches for it and ask for appropriate src committer review and approval. Just to make it clear, I did not imply that Glen or anyone else should get busy with them, just wondered if they by chance already know whether these fixes are applicable or not. ./danfe
