So after much poking around, turns out there's something in FreeBSD bridges=
 and
VLANs, where if you have a bridge on the untagged interface, it causes prob=
lems
with tagged traffic making it to bridges on the tagged interfaces. Once I
switched to using bridges only on VLAN tagged interfaces, everything
miraculously started working. Extremely annoying.
