-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've got 4.4-PRERELEASE (cvsup'ed yesterday) humming happily along on my Thinkpad T22. I have been unable to get sound to work, and google turned up nil. I have "device pcm" and "device csa" in my kernel config file, and the system appears to notice and configure the device upon boot, but I get no sound, and no errors. I've fiddled with mixer, the various buttons on the Thinkpad, the PCI IRQ settings in the BIOS, etc., all to no effect. This is what /dev/sndstat says: FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm) Aug 13 2001 11:46:03 Installed devices: pcm0: <CS461x PCM Audio> at irq 11 (1p/1r/0v channels duplex) I've noticed that a couple people on -mobile appear to have T22's, so I'm hoping there's some simple clue I need that I lack. If you are in possesion of such a clue and feel inclined to share, please do!
