as i'm aware; it was implied in my initial message, since i noted that cdrecord only supports scsi, and burncd appears to have a lack of widespread support. this was intended to indicate atapi drives. in any case..i found my answer from a very helpful member of the list, and things are smooth and good. this is a questions list, is it not? i shouldn't have to go into intimate detail of my life and schedule, just to justify *why* i'm asking a question. sheesh. - erk On Wed, 18 Sep 2002 20:15:26 -0400 "Brian T.
