As far as I know, the code isn't available, period. Connectix is afraid people will steal the compression codec, apparently. The unofficial QuickCam 3rd-party drivers page, http://www.crynwr.com/qcpc/ goes so far as to recommend people buy the Panasonic Eggcam instead.
