Hi! I just got a brand new Seagate Travan 20G <Seagate STT20000N 7.10>. I have previously used a Seagate "Hornet", Travan 4G, and is has worked fine (well, it has some quirks, but it does its job). The new streamer won't work. I have connected it and it show up fine: #camcontrol devlist ... <CONNER CTT8000-S 1.07> at scbus1 target 3 lun 0 (pass5,sa0) <Seagate STT20000N 7.10> at scbus1 target 5 lun 0 (pass6,sa1) but: # mt -f /dev/nrsa1 stat mt: /dev/nrsa1: Device not configured # camcontrol tur -n sa -u 1 Unit is not ready # camcontrol reset 1 Reset of bus 1 was successful # camcontrol tur -n sa -u 1 Unit is not ready in messages, the mt command gives the following "clues": Mar 23 00:33:19 trumpet /kernel: (sa1:aha0:0:5:0): LOAD UNLOAD.
