Hey ppl.,
Was just wondering, in FreeBSD 4.x, if I want to enable ethernet
bridging, am I still restricted to IPFW and not IPFilter?
I know in 3.x, that was the case... I wanted to go with IPFilter more than
IPFW at the time, so for my firewall, I had to use OpenBSD. FreeBSD is on
all my other machines and runs so awesomely!!!
Reason I ask this, is because for some reason when I try to boot off of
floppy27.fs in OpenBSD to upgrade from 2.6 to 2.7, it just sits @ rd0...
fixed 3560 blocks and does nothing; so I'm stumped. I can't cvsup it either,
because I don't have the HD space. :(
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
