I am new to the list and to FreeBSD. A friend sent me the below in regards to a problem he having with he newly installed FreeBSD machine. _________________________________ On bootup, I get the following message: pid 139 (mgetty), uid 0 on /: file system full This scrolls by the screen for a while, then stops, then does it again for about another 25 lines, stops, adds another 10, stops and adds another 3. After that, I never see it again. When I try "startx" or "xinit", I get: _X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno=61 waiting for X server to begin accepting connections. _X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno=61 .. _X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno=61 ,,_XSERVTransSocketCreateListener: failed to bind listener _XSERVTransINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to create listener for tcp Fatal Server error: Failed to establish all listening sockets _X11TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno=61 giving up. xinit: Connection refused (errno 61): unable to connect to X server xinit: No such process (errno 3): Seerver error I'm typing this in, so there may be some typos. _________________________________ Any ideas??
