Hi, I read from the 'sysinstall' manpage that you can create unattended FreeBSD installations by using a configuration file, like the one supplied in /usr/src/release/sysinstall/install.cfg. I have gotten hold of a installation file that contains the following lines: ################################ # setup machine sendmail_enable:NO moused_port:/dev/psm0 moused_type:auto moused_enable:YES saver:logo font8x8:iso-8x8 font8x14:iso-8x14 font8x16:iso-8x16 keyrate:fast portmap_enable:NO inetd_enable:NO Is this a syntax that can be used to automatically configure /etc/rc.conf at installation time? I have found no mention of this particular syntax in the 'sysinstall' manpage, nor anywhere else on the web for that matter. Has anyone used this type of syntax before? Does it work? (I don't have a machine to try it on, unfortunately). If so, where can I find more information on this?
