According to
http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/laptop=
-connect.jsp
LaptopConnect cards work via GSM/EDGE networks, not via satellite. They
also require something called "AT&T Communication Manager" which is
windows-only, AFAICT.

In short, don't bother with these cards.
