(I want to see what might be common between
his networking configuration and yours.)
The bug is buried somewhere in the networking
you two guys are using.

In your case, you are using bridge, epair (and there
was mention of wireshark as well?).
(I was hoping he is also using one of those, which
would narrow down the likely culprit.)
