Ok, i was very lame :) cat /etc/rc.conf shows that sysinst put there the required config lines, but didnt pass them to ifconfig. After a reboot, it worked well, i just thought that sysinstall will configure ifconfig at once. I can remember, that problem was about Freesbie, which cant save the modified rc.conf, so i wasnt able to config the network by using sysintall. Anyway, thanx for mentioning that! ricsip
