Hello,
I have not got FreeBSD running on mine but a friend has redhat linux
on his. These are the tricks we used to get it on there.

Take the drive out of the libretto thru the small door on the left hand
side. and install it into a 2.5" to 3.5" drive conversion kit. You should be
able to get one of these easy enough.Then just install as per normal in a
desktop pc. Make sure that you have everything you need copied over as you
wont be able to get anything onto it till you get the pcmcia device running.
(other then lpt1)

Dont have one but Xfree configured it fine from memory. If you have problems
