Which is exactly what geom_mirror does, amazingly enough. (Except, of course, that geom_mirror only needs one sector!) See the function mirror_label() in /usr/src/sbin/geom/class/mirror/geom_mirror.c. So if geom_mirror is not working with GPT, you should look elsewhere for the culprit. -GAWollman
