No, definitly not anymore since 2.0.5.

Huh?  Where do you enable "802.3"?  AppleTalk uses 802.3 SNAP Ethernet
frames.  If your talking about checking the 802.3 option in the TCP/IP
control panel: that makes the Mac use 802.3 SNAP frames *for IP* instead of
the standard Ethernet II frames. If you do, it is perfectly clear that you
don't get answers to the pings anymore.´

You might also want at the net/netatalk and net/netatalk+asun ports.
